Gourmet Your Way

Allison Prudente, CPC, started her Culinary Education as a child helping in her Grandmother's kitchen.  Grandma Minnie was a Caterer and Allison's fond memories include helping make fresh pasta, tending to her tomato plants and the daunting task of 'cleaning gizzards'.   Allison went on to get her Bachelor's Degree from Southern Illinois University and in 1981, she moved to New York to be on the first Technical Crew of the all new MTV.  After working in television and then photography, Allison realized it was time to go back to her roots and get back into the kitchen.  Allison has attended classes at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY and the Natural Gourmet Institute in NYC.  In 2006 she received her degeree from the Culinary Business Academy in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. In 2008, she proudly became a Certified Personal Chef with the United States Personal Chef Association.
